Scholarship Opportunities

Please check back periodically. New scholarship opportunities will be posted as they become available. 

• All applications must be submitted through SmarterSelect. The links below will direct you to each scholarship's application on SmarterSelect and you will be prompted to create an account upon first login. You will use this same account if you apply for other Foundation scholarships thereafter.
• If you are applying for multiple Foundation scholarships, MOST of your information will copy through each application (THIS INCLUDES LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION). In some cases, you will need to fill out the form again. 
• Most scholarships have a deadline of 2/14/20, but some may be different. Please pay close attention to the deadline listed with each scholarship opportunity
• No paper applications, letters or recommendation or transcripts will be accepted.
• The scholarships listed below are the only scholarships currently accepting applications. Additional scholarship opportunities will be added as they become available, so please check back. 
• All applicants will be notified in writing via mail or email of the committee's decision. Recipients also may be recognized at their school's Senior Awards Ceremony. 
• Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipient's college or university to be credited toward tuition.

2020 Scholarships

Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty Scholarship - deadline 2/14

• $1000 (2)
• graduating senior, resident of West Chester or Liberty Township, demonstrate financial need

Fund 6800 Surviving & Thriving Scholarship - deadline 2/14

• $500 (4)
• graduating senior at Lakota West or Butler Tech who has been impacted by a cancer diagnosis

MS6 Scholarship for High School Football Players - deadline 2/14

• $2000.06 
• graduating senior Football Player at Lakota West High School

MS27 Scholarship for Male High School Lacrosse Players - deadline 2/14

• $2000.27
• graduating senior Lacrosse Player at Lakota West High School

Dr. Masood & Shakila Ahmad Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• graduating seniors from any high school in the Greater Cincinnati area

Kyle Babcock Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• students who will attend, or are currently attending, Bishop Fenwick High School

Julia Ellen Burnett Scholarship – deadline 2/14

• graduating senior living in Mason, West Chester or Liberty Township 

Jordan Day Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• $1000 (up to 2)
• graduating senior student athletes on the Lakota East Women's and Men's golf teams

Harold Draut Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• $750
• graduating seniors at Lakota East and Lakota West

Dunaway Family Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• up to $10,000 (renewable for up to 4 years)
• graduating seniors at Mason High School

Susan Hendel Scholarship – deadline 2/14

• $500
• women 30 years of age or older who are returning to post-secondary education, or attending for the first time 

Hoody Memorial Scholarship  - deadline 2/5

• graduating seniors at Lakota East and Lakota West high schools

Alicia Esther Lang Memorial Scholarship  - deadline 2/14

• $1000
• graduating seniors from Lakota East or Lakota West

Bob Lawhorn Education Fund Scholarship – deadline 2/7

• 4 years of full undergraduate tuition to the University of Cincinnati
• graduating seniors from Norwood High School 

Greg Lemmel Scholarship – deadline 2/14

• students graduating from St. Susanna Elementary and attending Bishop Fenwick High School 

Karen Moeller Memorial Scholarship – deadline 2/14
